Introducing college to a YouTube community

Study Hall is an initiative between key partners such as ASU, YouTube, and a content monster, Complexly. Complexly is well known for its high-profile shows like Crash Course and SciShow. Both channels feature communities of millions of invested subscribers. In March 2020, the Study Hall YouTube channel was launched generating interest by those seeking to understand college.

Currently, we are learning more about Study Hall users and their needs so we can better serve them in future phases. We want to provide additional resources that align with the content they seek on the Study Hall channel.

Ultimately, the goal is to create a connection between the channel and a learning environment where a causal learner can enroll, succeed and earn real college credit. There are currently four courses available provided by ASU.

Since the channel launched in 2020, the community has grown tremendously to 65,000 subscribers in a little under 3 years. Our subscribers appreciate the honest delivery of content and the message of Study Hall.
